The Charnwood Dunlop Playgroup is a welcoming, community-based group for children aged 0–5 and their families. Held fortnightly during school terms, our playgroup provides a relaxed and friendly environment where children can explore, play, and develop important social and developmental skills. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for parents and carers to connect, share experiences, and build supportive relationships within the local community.
Playgroups offer many benefits for both children and adults. For young children, they encourage creativity, language development, problem-solving, and social interaction—all through play-based learning. For parents and carers, playgroups can reduce isolation, provide access to local support networks, and foster a strong sense of belonging.
