An ACT Government School

The Charnwood-Dunlop STEAM program focuses on integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics into a cohesive and connected learning experience. The key aspect of the program is integrating the five STEAM disciplines to promote the development of skills that students can use in the real world. Our STEAM program utilises practical examples and applications of student learning that relate to real world experiences.

It includes extensive education on how to safely use and incorporate technologies into everyday life, including:

  • Chromebooks
  • iPads
  • Robotic devices
  • Electronics
  • Various hand tools
  • Sustainable resources (solar and wind powered devices).

This program focuses on engaging students in the Australian Curriculum through relatable and authentic activities. It fosters the development of student skills in teamwork, leadership, problem solving, and how to investigate ideas.
